Great products and Service

What a really cool place!!! My son was performing the play, Dog Fight and needed dog tags. Being the daughter of a WWII Navy Vet & sister of two former Marines, off we went on our quest to find a military store. This place is small, compared to a lot of surplus stores, but stocked with all sorts of gear and memorabilia. We spent a good twenty minutes just perusing the store, and we weren't the only ones. It seemed every customs was doing the same. It is just a really cool place.

Excellent products

Solid guys offering a decent price on gear. Took in a box of gear - left with $250. They'll have to sit on it for a while but they got a good deal. I have some beer money. If you have the time to sell online do it but these guys will give you cash money for good gear.

Great service and reliable

Absolutely wonderful shop stuffed to the brim with vintage (as well as new/newer) gear. The employees were personable and knowledgeable and let me rummage through boxes of old buttons to my heart's content. The employees also knew what each item was as I pointed stuff out and asked - which sounds like a basic tenet of any job, but we all know that isn't always the case - these guys could give detailed history, accounts and also pull apart anything to show details. Pretty awesome!

Easy to use

if you're a militaria collector or just casually interested in military surplus and you're in the Alexandria area, stop by FMJ. This is as pedigreed a business as a military surplus store can be. Plus, the staff is friendly, interesting, and they know every militaria collector in Northern VA worth knowing.

Great service and reliable

This place is great. I was going out to Arizona to work with some Marines for a few weeks and I needed some gear. Got boots and a hat here, and should have bought most of my clothes here instead of at REI. Seemed like reasonable prices and the workers were helpful. Lots of stuff in the store to peruse.
