  • This is the classic canteen. This version was introduced in 1945 and wasn't replaced until 1964. Even then it continued to see service until the 1970s and even later at scout camp.

    Capacity is about 1qt. Not much else to say about it. Its a canteen.

    Most are 1950s dates, some are 1940s. None have the cork in the cap, so you'll need to replace that.
